As white as … Pizza – Recipes for a White Pizza

You probably know one or two pizza recipes, but have you ever made a White Pizza? No? It’s about time! Today we’re going to show you two delicious recipes that not only makes the pizza look a little different, but also taste extremely tasty.

Simple meets delicious – you’ll definitely succeed with this one

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 200g prepared pizza dough
  • 25g pine nuts
  • 12g crème fraîche
  • 60g feta
  • 20g parmesan
  • 30g arugula
  • black pepper
  • flour for the work surface

 

Step 1: Shape the prepared pizza dough into the desired shape and spread the crème fraîche as you normally would the tomato sauce.

Step 2: Then top the pizza with onions, pine nuts and feta. (The pizza tastes even better if you roast the pine nuts first.)

Step 3: Now place the pizza in the oven at 220°C for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 4: Top the pizza with the rocket and some black pepper.

Step 5: Eat or serve your result.

A recipe for those who like a little more on their pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough, divided into two halves
  • Vegetable oil
  • Coarse corn flour
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped oregano
  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped thyme
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella, divided
  • ¼ cup Pecorino Romano, divided
  • Red pepper flakes

 

Step 1: Heat the oven to 260°C.

Step 2: Roast the garlic and season it with salt and pepper. Strain the garlic afterwards and keep both the oil and the sautéed garlic slices.

Step 3: Mix the ricotta, salt, pepper and half of the herbs.

Step 4: Now shape the dough into the desired shape. You can either make one giant pizza or two regular sized ones.

Step 5: Now brush the dough with the garlic oil you made earlier and top with mozzarella, pecorino and the ricotta mixture.

Step 6: Put the pizza in the oven for 15 to 17 minutes.

Step 7: Scatter the remaining garlic slices, herbs and pepper flakes over the pizza.

Step 8: Eat or serve your result.
