When it comes to baking, peoples’ opinions are often quite different. For those who like to experiement in the kitchen, it is almost a torture to stick to the exact recipe. For this reason, we found four simple recipes for you, which everyone is able to manage in the kitchen.

Vegan Doughnuts

The first recipe is for doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 40g sugar
  • One package of dry yeast
  • 50g vegan butter
  • 150ml oat milk
  • Jam and powdered sugar for powdering

For the dough, melt the milk with butter over low heat. Combine the flour, yeast, sugar and milk-butter mixture. Knead everything together and leave the dough to rest for 1-2 hours.

Knead the grown dough once again and divide it afterwards into six balls – then place them on a baking sheet with baking paper. Rest the dough again for 45 minutes. Do not forget to cover the dough balls!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and coat the dough balls with melted butter. Then bake for 15 minutes until they are golden brown.

When the time is up, let the doughnuts cool down for a short time and brush them again with some melted butter and then roll them in sugar.

Then use a piping bag to fill the doughnuts with jam and sprinkle the powdered sugar on top.

Crepes

For four servings you need:

  • 200g wheat flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • a package of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs (size M)
  • 500ml milk
  • about 20g butter

Mix flour, salt and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and whisk in the eggs and milk. Then let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

Heat the butter in a pan and add half a soup ladle full of batter – bake on low to medium heat until golden.

Once every side is golden brown, your crepes are done!

Blueberry muffins

For 12 muffins you need:

  • 75g soft butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 package vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs (size M)
  • 150g natural yogurt
  • 250g wheat flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200-250g blueberries

First preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (convection oven 160 degrees). Whisk the butter creamy with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Gradually stir down the eggs. Do the same with the yogurt.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt and add it to the dough. Then lightly mix in the blueberries. When everything is mixed together, use an ice cream scoop or two spoons to divide the batter into the muffin cups. If you want to, you can add more berries on top.

Then bake the muffins for about 25 minutes in the oven.

Chocolate tiramisu

For about 6 servings you need:

  • one package of cream pudding chocolate
  • 400 ml milk
  • 250g mascarpone
  • 100ml espresso
  • one pack of chocolate drops
  • 3 tablespoons Amaretto (almond liqueur)
  • about 100g ladyfingers
  • for sprinkling: about a teaspoon of cocoa

First you need to cook the pudding with 400ml milk! Then pour the finished pudding into a bowl and immediately cover the surface with cling foil so that no skin forms on top. Let the pudding rest until it cools down.

Then stir the pudding again and add the mascarpone, 3 tablespoons of espresso and the chocolate drops.

Mix the remaining espresso with the Amaretto. Break up the ladyfingers, soak them in the Amaretto-expresso mix and put them with the chocolate cream in 6 dessert glasses. Then place the glasses in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

It doesn’t need a master chef in order to create some sweets. Whether you make the treats for yourself or for others, it’s great to do something active instead of sitting in front of your phone. Grab your whisk and show off your baking skills.
