More water!
Drinking water helps enormously with sugar withdrawal. It’s a matter of habit, if you normally drink a lot you will notice that your body immediately craves water if you drink less for just one day. It is best to drink lukewarm. This reduces appetite.
Get outside
Those who regularly excercise outdoors are much less likely to come home and feast on sugary snacks. Excersising kills appetite.

We all know that sugar is hidden in thousands of our favourite products. In order to really avoid or reduce sugar, you have to be cautious when shopping. Often the word “sugar” is not clearly written on the back of the products. Sucrose, dextrose, maltodextrin, glucose syrup… all sugar. So before you go shopping next time you should have a look at the over 70 alternative terms used by the food industry to disguise sugar.

“Good” sugar
Ripe bananas, dates, dried fruit – it’s all super sweet, kills the craving and is also healthy. And the best thing about it is that the feeling of satiety from real sugar compared to industrial sugar lasts longer and is better metabolized.
New habits
Allow yourself to develop new and better eating habits:
- Eat meals regularly.
- Eat lots of protein.
- Use lots of spices. This will bring variety into your meals.
- Find new snacks: nuts, roasted seeds, sweet potato wedges. And take them with you wherever you go.
- Be inventive.
