  • salt
  • pepper

And this is how it works:

  1. Boil the potatoes as well as the eggs, let cool and peel.
  2. Chop the spring onions, cucumber, radish, garlic, chives and dill. Cut the potatoes and eggs into slices.
  3. Mix mustard, sour cream and buttermilk to a soup and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Now add your chopped ingredients to the soup. Use the dill and chives to garnish the soup.
  5. Enjoy.

So freshly strengthened it goes to the next culture: Brazil

South Americans are famous for their meat consumption, so we don’t want to deprive you of that here either. We have feijoada for you. This is a stew that consists of black beans, sausages and pork.

For 4 servings you need this time:

  • 250 g black beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 l water
  • 300 g beef goulash meat
  • pepper
  • 100 g mead loin (smoked)
  • 100 g spicy sausage (e.g. chorizo)
  • 100 g pancetta
  • 200 g rice
  • 1 orange

How to make it:

  1. Wash the beans thoroughly and let them soak in water overnight.
  2. The next day: wash the beans again. Peel and chop the onion and garlic and fry them. Add the beans and the bay leaf and boil everything with 1l of water.
  3. Season the meat with a lot of pepper and add it to the beans.
  4. Let everything simmer for 1,5h. In the meantime cut the spicy sausage, add it and simmer for another 1,5h.
  5. Cut the bacon into small pieces and render it in a pan. Add everything, including the fat, to the pot with the rest of the ingredients and simmer for half an hour.
  6. Now you can prepare the rice, wash and cut the orange.
  7. Depending on the consistency of the feijoada, you can add some water or flour.
  8. Arrange it nicely and serve it with the orange and the rice.
  9. Enjoy.
