The new trend: warm smoothies for cold days!

A good start into the day is a self-mixed smoothie. Usually ypu drink this cool but in winter, when you’re already freezing, the cold smoothie gives you the rest. Stop it, because warm winter smoothies now give you a vitamin kick and warm you up from the inside!

We’ll show you how you can easily mix your own warm smoothies. Baked apple, pear, ginger or pumpkin-cinnamon: Warm smoothies are at least as delicious as hot chocolate, but much healthier. They are full of vitamins, minerals and fibre. They also warm from the inside and are perfect for frosty mornings. There are no limits to the variation. The smoothies based on animal or vegetable milk are chopped as usual in the mixer and then heated in the microwave for a maximum of 30 seconds.

If you’ve always had a green smoothie in summer, you might not want to warm it up – some combinations simply taste better when cold. Instead, you should choose ingredients that have warming properties or that heat particularly well: Ginger, chilli, curcuma and cinnamon, but also other delicious things like almond milk, apple juice, oat milk or cocoa. Before you start experimenting, we have two delicious recipes here for you.
