Hold on tight, because now it will get furious: Hyperion presents Hypercar

Formula-1 speed, the elegance of a Lambo & more eco-friendly than any other: Hyperion has been working on a hydrogen-powered racing car for the past few years, which makes all other supercars disappear in its (emission-free) cloud of steam!

The Hyperion XP-1 was supposed to be presented at this year’s New York Auto Show 2020 – but now the new supercar will see the light of day digitally for the first time before it will hit the streets in 2022 IRL.

When designing the XP-1, one thing was probably at the top of the agenda: Hydrogen car of Superlatives: The Hypercar is supposed to have a top speed of 355 km/h and accelerate to an unbeatable 97 km/h in just 2.2 seconds. On top, the aerodynamic and futuristic-looking XP-1 should have a hydrogen range of about 1,600 kilometers and refuel in a remarkable five minutes!

Emission-free racing remains exclusive

As good as this mighty step towards eco-driving sounds, Hypercar remains Hypercar and that means it also remains hyper-exclusive: Hyperion plans to produce just 300 units of the hydrogen car by 2022.
