Garden on a budget: Upcycling & DIY for your precious garden

youDRESSED Redaktion

There is something very satisfying about allowing old and useless objects to shine in new splendour with very little effort. Especially in the garden and on the balcony upcycling & DIY projects are often used.

These homemade garden projects are fun, more beautiful than anything you can buy by default and are also easy on your wallet.

The in-house salad bar…

With a bit of luck, you’ll only have to dig around in the garage or tool shed for this DIY and you’ll have all your things together: A wooden beam to be mounted horizontally on a fence, and the same number of small pots and S-shaped-hooks. This DIY project is particularly good if the pots are planted with salad – and the in-house salad bar is ready.

…gibt’s auch auf mehreren Etagen

Thanks to easily accessible Euro pallets, the salad bar can be extended to a salad buffet over several floors. For this project, the pallet simply has to be leaned upright against a fence or wall, the recesses then acting as supports for the balcony boxes. A fresh coat of paint will certainly not harm the whole construction.
