Christmas time is gift time and if you want to make your loved ones happy this year with a lasting gift, we have just the thing for you. Here are three interesting and sustainable gift ideas.

Giving gives pleasure. But one thing is also clear: many gifts are anything but sustainable. So instead of giving away clothes that aren’t really needed or short-lived electrical appliances, this year it could be something sustainable. That’s exactly why we have three exciting gift inspirations for you.

Together into adventure

When we think of gifts, we often think of things to touch. But it doesn’t have to be that way.  Especially experiences can create unforgettable memories. Whether it is a voucher for a common hut hike in the mountains, a blacksmith course or a wellness weekend the right thing depends on the recipient. But it becomes especially beautiful when these memories are created together.

Gifts for everyday life

Gifts that are used in everyday life have a great side effect: They can provide for beautiful thoughts and refreshing memories. But how could such a gift look like? Bread pots are particularly practical and often also a beautiful optical accessory. They help you to keep your bread fresh. And it needs neither paper nor plastic.

Donations

The person receiving the present always says she already has everything? Then take her at her word and give her a donation partnership. The money then goes to an organization of your choice. In the best case you know which topics or organizations are particularly close to the person’s heart…

By the way: There is also a more sustainable alternative to the Christmas tree, which is thrown away again after Christmas Day. Meanwhile you can buy or rent Christmas trees in a pot, which you can reuse afterwards or which can be planted in the garden.
