The most beautiful destinations to escape winter

Winter is here again. Cold days and even colder nights. Early sunsets and the associated tiredness. But now we’ll show you where you can really soak up the sun during winter months to boost your vitamin D reserves – because there is no better antidote for the seasonal blues than an exotic trip.

AUSTRALIA

Diving in the Great Barrier Reef, visiting the Sydney Opera House, outback camping under the starry sky, Melbourne sightseeing or stroking kangaroos and koala bears: Australia has many attractions. And best of all, when winter starts here, midsummer dawns in Australia. The hottest temperatures are between December and February. But above all, Australia has a fantastically beautiful landscape and it’s definitely worth the trip.

CAMBODIA

While travel destinations like Thailand are well developed and there are travel tips for every little question, a trip to Cambodia is still a little adventure. But the culture and history are not too short: You should visit Angkor Wat and the other temples during your trip under any circumstances.

And also the capital, Phnom Penh, has its own special charm, as it combines a colorful history and legacies of the French colonial era with the modern face of an emerging metropolis in Southeast Asia. From November on, the trip is recommended there.

SEYCHELLES

Here you can find fanstatic beaches that are otherwise known only by postcards: turquoise water and white sandy beaches which invite you to just relax your soul.

The island of Praslin is one of the three main islands of the Seychelles, alongside Mahé and La Digue. Tourists come to Praslin mainly because of the beautiful beaches – because on the island, there are two of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles. When to go there: between December and March.

But it is not just the many secluded coves and beautiful beaches that are already worth seeing: On top, there are more than 55 on Mahé alone – but also beautiful hiking trails, viewpoints, markets, culture, parks and much more. Around the three main islands are many more little treasures: Small islands which often have no accommodation, but are perfect for a day trip.
