RECYCLED MATERIALS FOR IKEA FURNITURE

In order to adapt thematically to space travel, the new collection deals with the prevailing conditions in space: cramped living space and lack of resources such as air and water. The result: a modular furniture system, innovative lighting solutions, indoor terrariums and a newly designed air purifier. The tubes used for the modules are made of light and recycled veneer material. This material is also versatile and can be used for other pieces of furniture such as wardrobes, sofas and beds. Production can be almost waste-free.

Unfortunately, the relaunch of the furniture will be delayed until 2020, when it will be available in the Ikea shops for a limited time.
