Seville is the capital of the southern Spanish region of Andalusia and famous as the “Cradle of Flamenco”, mainly practiced in the Triana district. Experience a journey between hot dances, delicious churros and colourful architecture.
Seville is one of the most popular destinations in Spain and is visited every year by tourists from all over the world. The sun-drenched city has much to offer its visitors: History, culture and a lot of Mediterranean joie de vivre.
Beautiful architecture
You can’t get bored in Seville. The magnificent city centre, with its exceptional architecture, is one of the most beautiful places in Spain. Some of the numerous places of interest are rightly included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Alcázar Royal Palace, the impressive cathedral with the Giralda and the Plaza de España are a must in Seville. In addition to these highlights, Seville has great museums, palaces, towers, parks, gardens and squares. And all this can be easily explored on foot. Seville is also a city of tapas. Here you will find everything that Spanish cuisine has to offer: The city is full of tapas bars, restaurants and cafés. A real treat!
But beware: Sevilla is one of the hottest places in Europe. 40 degrees in summer are nothing here. It is therefore better to postpone your sightseeing tours to spring or autumn. See as many sights as you can, enjoy an extensive tapas tour, pedal along the beautiful cycle paths of the metropolis and watch at least one flamenco performance! If you haven’t been to Seville yet, you need to change that as soon as possible.
